detectomat will be exhibiting at the Intersec exhibition in Dubai, U.A.E. from the 15th to 17th January 2013.

Since 2008 detectomat is successfully participating at the Intersec exhibition every year and once again is proud to welcome the visitors of the show in 2013 at the “Made in Germany” Pavillon in hall 6, booth 405F. An established sales network with local agents and reliable partners is set up in the region and ensures a close professional sales and after sales support. detectomat will present its range of addressable fire alarm system, conventional fire alarm system, wireless fire alarm system and stand alone detectors. The detectomat products are approved according to the EN 54 standards by the VdS and have been locally approved by the local civil defence approval bodies as well detectomat will present especially the new touch screen panel detect 3400, the detect 3004plus, network features, Wireless SRC 3000 and the HD series. Also some special commissioning training demonstration and a live detection test will be performed on the stand.

Commissioning training and demonstration on the exhibition
At the exhibition detectomat will show and train the commissioning software. This software enables an easy and fast commissioning of the Fire alarm system.

Each day there will be some 20 to 40 minutes demonstrations about the easy use at 10:15 a.m. and 14:00 and 17:00. Please convince yourself about this powerful tool and the easy way of starting up the fire alarm system.

Detector performance comparison test
detectomat will perform and show a test fire with a petroleum flame at the stand and will prove the powerful performance of the multiple wave length detector OTi Fusion® against ionization detectors. The tests will be shown daily at every full hour.

Recently detectomat was holding a seminar session together with two other reputable  companies in Portugal: : LPG (Fire extinguishing) and Sinalux (Safety signs).
Mr. Daniel Fernandes, Regianla Sales Manager at was informing in his speeches about:
„Installation of equipment for automatic Fire protection in the Portuguese legislation and products and fire protection systems for automatic fire detection certified according to European standards”

This event which was called "A Day in Safety" and dedicated to various technical and legal topics related to the fire safety in buildings attracted designers and stakeholders of the fire industry. The Decree Laws 220/2008 and 1532/2008 were presented by speakers of each company and discussed in detail together with the audience.
 In the Algarve the event was held on the 11th October 2011 at the Sheraton Hotel in Albufeira. The guest speakers were Eng. M ª Filomena Ferreira and António Varela who presented in front of an audience of  70 people the themes “Self-Protection Measures "and" Errors and Omissions in Development Projects in Fire Safety buildings”.

In Madeira, the event was held in the city of Funchal in the Enotel on the 24th November 2011. The guest speakers were Eng. Luis Miguel Sousa and Eng Carlos Ferreira de Castro who presented in front of an audience of  70 people the themes "An Approach to the Prevention of SCIE (Fire safety in buildings)” and “Challenges New Safety Regulations”.

In Lisabon the event was held on 1st  and 2nd February 2012 at the Hotel VIP Executive Art's on two consecutive days due to the high number of attendees. The guest speakers were the Architect Paul Ramos and Dr. Maria João Conde from the Portuguese Fire association who presented in front of 315 people the themes “Audit of the conditions of SCIE in the Field of Self-Protection" and "Selecting Suppliers, Installers and Maintenance Companies equipment SCIE”.

Another event on the 18th April 2012 was held in the offices of Dr. Antonio Cupertino Miranda Foundation, in the Port City. It was attended by approximately 220 people coming from different security organizations of the region, private and governmental attendees, designers and managers of companies in the sector of fire safety. In addition to the three speakers from the organizing companies some guest speakers were supporting the event.
Eng. Luis Ratinho, Head of Safety Seat (Volkswagen Group) presented the theme: "Importance of Security in the Volkswagen Group," and shared his experience as head of security at Autoeuropa in Palmela, Volkswagen in Brazil and finally Seat in Spain.
Major Luis Pais Rodrigues presented the theme "Fire Safety in Buildings: Nonconformity and compensatory measures” based on his experience of several studies on the rehabilitation of historic buildings in the urban area of Porto.
The seminar session which was provided for experts in the fire safety in buildings was a huge success.
